Brain Injury Speaker's Bureau

The need to educate consumers, professionals, and the general public concerning traumatic and acquired brain injury has been a priority of the Brain Injury Association of Montana since it’s inception.

The Brain Injury Speaker’s Bureau has been established to help support the mission of the association to raise the awareness of brain injury issues, the services available through the association and the many resources in our state

The Brain Injury Speaker’s Bureau has been designed in a way as to provide a list of professionals, thrivers of brain injury, and family members to speak on topics related to brain injury. Topics include but are not limited to: Medical, Prevention, Care-giving, Rehab/Therapy, Education, Legal, Funding, Support Services, Vocational, etc.

The Brain Injury Association of Montana is taking great strides in providing education about brain injury in Big Sky Country. One of the goals in this endeavor is to establish a Brain Injury Speaker's Bureau in Montana.

The Speaker's Bureau is available to any group that needs a speaker who is informed on brain injury and related topics.

The speakers are professionals in the field of brain injury, survivors who would like to share their success story or family members who have experience caring for their loved one.

Our list of speakers is just beginning to grow, but we invite and welcome new presenters. If you would like be a speaker, contact us and we will send you information on becoming a member.

Resource Facilitation Service (RFS)

Through-out Montana there are many individuals and families dealing with the issues of living with a brain injury. The Brain Injury Association of Montana’ mission is to provide education and advocacy for these individuals. And they do for many in the state. But there are also many who have never heard of the Association or how we can help.The Resource Facilitation Service, recently implemented by BIAMT, is an effort to reach out to these families and thrivers of brain injury.
