Montana Advocacy Program (MAP)

Anita has worked at the Montana Advocacy Program since May 1998. Before that she was a public defender in Pendleton, Oregon. She is a 1994 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, and a member of both the Oregon and Montana bar associations. At MAP, her principle focus is on the civil rights of people with mental illness and intellectual disabilities. She represents MAP at the Montana Legislature and works with consumer and advocacy organizations, in addition to litigating and doing appellate work. Anita is also a Board Member of BIAM.
